Somatic Prostheses and Carbon Masks

Somatic prostheses, from the Greek "sôma" (body), cover all external parts of the body affected at the superficial skin level, for example:

  • A nipple
A nipple prosthesis is an excellent alternative to tattooing and reconstructive surgery. It is removable and helps restore symmetry. We have developed a natural and effective retention method.

  • A finger or toe
Following a traumatic amputation or a birth defect, a finger or toe prosthesis is an ideal alternative that improves grip function and, aesthetically, allows for an ordinary life.

  • A hand or foot

  • Another superficial part of the body at skin level
Sometimes an illness causes a superficial loss of tissue that can become a significant aesthetic and psychological issue, particularly in exposed areas such as the limbs.

  • Carbon masks
We also create masks to protect the faces of athletes following an injury.
